Replacement Q-Lon Seal For your Rockdoor
Genuine OEM replacement Q-Lon seal for Rockdoor, sourced directly from Rockdoor. This seal runs around the outer frame of your door and provides the main compression seal between the frame and the door slab when closed, preventing draughts, water ingress and noise.
This is the Q-Lon style seal used on all Rockdoors manufactured from 2020 onwards. It can also be fitted to pre-2020 Rockdoors and in most cases works perfectly, however depending on how your door was originally set up and installed, a slight adjustment to the door or hinges may be needed.
Over time, your door seal can become compressed, hardened or damaged — leading to draughts around the edges of your door, water getting past the frame, or the door not feeling as snug when closed. Replacing the seal is a straightforward way to restore your door’s performance.

How to replace your Rockdoor seal:
Starting at one end, pull the old seal out using tweezers or long-nose pliers. Clean the channel thoroughly, making sure it’s free of dirt and debris. Insert the new seal into the channel and press it in firmly using your thumb, working back towards where you started to avoid stretching the seal. Continue around the full perimeter of the frame.
