Terms and Conditions - Very Secure Doors Ltd
1.1. These terms and conditions (hereinafter referred to as "Terms") govern the sale and supply of bespoke made-to-measure composite doors by Very Secure Doors Ltd (hereinafter referred to as "Vendor," "we," "us," or "our") to the customer (hereinafter referred to as "Customer," "you," or "your").
1.2. By placing an order for a bespoke made-to-measure composite door with Very Secure Doors Ltd, you agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.
2. Bespoke Doors
2.1. Our composite doors are fully bespoke and made to measure according to the specifications provided by the Customer.
2.2. The Customer acknowledges that they are solely responsible for ensuring the accuracy of the provided specifications. If measurements were taken by Very Secure Doors Ltd, we will assume responsibility for their accuracy.
2.3. Once the order for a bespoke door is placed, it cannot be cancelled or amended in any way. By proceeding with the door order, you agree that the specification is correct and final.
3.1. Once the Customer places an order for a bespoke made-to-measure composite door, the order cannot be cancelled or amended in any way.
3.2. By proceeding with the door order, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that the provided specification (excluding measurements if they were taken by Very Secure Doors Ltd) is correct and final.
3.3. In the event that the Customer wishes to cancel the door order at any given time, they shall be liable to pay for the cost of the door at a minimum, excluding fitting.
3.4. Very Secure Doors Ltd reserves the right to cancel any order if unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to material unavailability or production issues, prevent us from fulfilling the order. In such cases, a full refund will be provided to the Customer.
4.1. The price of the bespoke door, along with any additional agreed-upon services or fittings, will be provided to you upon acceptance of your order.
4.3. All products remain the property of Very Secure Doors Ltd until the full payment is received.
5. Lead Times
5.1. Lead times provided for the delivery and installation of the bespoke door are estimates only and are subject to change based on factors beyond our control.
5.2. We will make reasonable efforts to meet the estimated lead times, but we do not guarantee specific delivery or installation dates.
5.3. Any delays in the delivery or installation of the bespoke door, howsoever caused, including but not limited to manufacturing delays, transportation issues, labor disputes, natural disasters, or any other unforeseen circumstances, are not the fault or responsibility of Very Secure Doors Ltd.
5.4. Very Secure Doors Ltd shall not be liable for any losses, damages, or expenses incurred by the Customer due to delays beyond our reasonable control.
6. Installation and Fitting
6.1. If the Customer chooses to use a third-party installer or fitter, Very Secure Doors Ltd shall not be responsible for any damage or issues arising from improper installation.
6.1.1. If Very Secure Doors Ltd supplies the door only, any faults or defects must be reported to us within 48 hours of receipt, accompanied by photographic evidence.
6.2. It is the Customer's responsibility to ensure that the installation area is suitable and meets the necessary requirements for the composite door.
6.3. We offer to fit, or supply and fit doorbells as a courtesy service. However, we do not guarantee that they will function as intended and do not offer a warranty for them.
6.4. We will refit alarms upon request, but there is no guarantee that they will function properly after refitting. Consultation with an alarm specialist may be necessary to ensure proper functioning.
7.1. Very Secure Doors Ltd provides a warranty for its bespoke composite doors. The specific terms of the warranty will be provided separately.
8. Limitation of Liability
8.1. To the extent permitted by law, Very Secure Doors Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the sale, supply, or use of the bespoke door.
9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
9.1. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England.
